This does not, however, mean the proceedings are in any way choppy or discordant.

The black and white photography is impressive in its starkness, and the violence is strong and surprisingly graphic.

Mission killer

Plus at an economical 72 minutes the film moves fast and never overstays its welcome—that is until the final chase through Topanga Canyon, which quickly grows monotonous Steckler was admittedly in love with the scenery.
